About the Artist
Jessica Wolf is a Cincinnati-based artist whose large-scale, ceiling-suspended sculptures explore light, movement, and organic form. With a background in printmaking and photography, she earned her BFA from Murray State University in 2003. After working in package design for 6 years, she launched her creative business, Paper Acorn, in 2009. Over the years, her artistic practice has expanded into immersive public art.
Influenced by patterns in nature—like constellations, bird murmurations, and molecular structures—Wolf’s kinetic installations aim to evoke the wonder of looking skyward. Crafted from durable yet lightweight materials such as polycarbonate and synthetic paper, her sculptures respond to air currents and ambient light, casting shifting shadows and glowing from within. The result is a meditative experience that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and feel connected to something larger.
